About Rainbow Light Sanctuary

Rainbow Light Sanctuary was created by Órla as a calm, compassionate space for healing, connection, and gentle transformation. Based in Cork, Órla lives with her husband and her amazing neurodivergent family, who are the heart of her life and the deepest inspiration behind the Sanctuary. Their journey has shaped her understanding of care, resilience, and the importance of meeting each person exactly where they are.

Órla began her professional life as a primary school teacher, qualifying in 2000 and teaching in schools across Meath and Cork. A lifelong love of learning led her to further study in ICT in Education and a Master’s in Education, as well as work on the Primary School Curriculum Team supporting the redevelopment of the History curriculum. Over time, her focus naturally shifted towards wellbeing, particularly after witnessing rising levels of anxiety in children and young people. This led her to train in children’s yoga, mindfulness, and relaxation practices, bringing gentle, supportive tools into school environments.

In 2018, an accident marked a profound turning point in Órla’s life. When traditional approaches alone did not bring the healing she needed, she was guided towards holistic therapies — a step that opened the door to deep emotional, physical, and mental healing. Through modalities such as Integrated Energy Therapy (IET®), Rahanni, Belief Coding®, and creative and energy-based practices, Órla experienced first-hand the power of gentle, trauma-aware support. This personal journey now informs everything she offers.

Today, Órla opens Rainbow Light Sanctuary for those seeking a calm, inclusive space for healing — whether through breathwork, energy healing, subconscious belief work, or distance healing. The Sanctuary is offered with care, choice, and compassion, supporting others to reconnect with themselves and their own inner wisdom, in a way that feels safe, accessible, and deeply respectful..
